On November 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Pay It Forward Farm (PIFF) will be hosting its second annual Playing It Forward Music Festival at Crews Lake Park. The event will feature live bands and food, craft and business vendors. Kids’ entertainment and fun will include crafts, games and prizes, train rides and play areas.
The event will benefit Pay It Forward Farm single mother members get help through life’s barriers with a hand up rather than a hand out. (PIFF) is partially funded by United Way of Hernando County.
Admission is free, but donations such as diapers, wipes, toilet paper, cleaning products or cash are appreciated. A county park $2 parking fee will be charged.
The day’s music line up for the bands and musicians, who are donating their time and talents, is as follows:
11:15 a.m. - Noon Manatee Man, Gary Pane
12:20 - 1:35 p.m. The Lint Rollers
1:55 - 3:10 p.m. Franc Robert & The Boxtop Tourists
3:30 - 5 p.m. Glad All Over Band
5-7 p.m. Drum circle with Tribal Resonance

Since January 2010, the Pay It Forward Farm has been helping single mothers from Hernando and Pasco counties gain confidence and skills by participating in one-on-one goal setting sessions and by taking courses in computer literacy, sewing, cooking and meal planning, as well as GED classes. http://www.payitforwardfarm.org
